- On-Page Optimization
It’s a set of measures that can be taken directly within any website with the sole objective to boost its ranking on top search engines.
That means everything permissible is done on your website to rank it on the first page of Google, including your URL, title, meta tags, link building and updating content.
Hope you’ve understood everything we’ve explained above. Let’s start from the very beginning with your website URL.
- URL Optimization
Your website URL is your online address. With a clear and simple URL you confirm to your potential clients that your business can provide everything they are looking for. People interested in your services are more likely to click on your URL (if its ranking high for your niche keywords) if it’s easily deciphered and is also simple enough to remember.
So if you have your current domain name and it is your business name, you want to make sure that your URL is optimised for key services, so you have your domain name then on the extension make sure it is set up like the following:
As sometimes you will see it as Theskinclinic.com.au/pg.134
And that is not good in Google’s eyes as it does not tell them what the page is about.
Other options for your domain name are to have a keyword domain name, this is a small ranking factor in Google’s algrorithim but not crucial.
But we just recommend using your business name and making sure inner page URL’s are structured correctly.
