Can I switch between packs?
Yes, you can. You just need to let us know which pack you want to switch to and we’ll adjust your monthly fee. If you’re switching from our Starter Pack to our Web Pack there will also be an additional $300 to pay. If you switch from the Platinum Pack to the Web Pack within the first 12 months, there will be an additional $497 to pay.
What’s the catch?
We often get asked how we can design, build, and service you each month for such a low monthly fee and no lock-in contract (after 12 months). But there is no catch. You can seriously cancel at any time (subject to 30 days’ notice).
Do I keep the website if I cancel a Web Pack?
If you cancel your Web Pack within 12 months and want to keep the website, there will be a payment equivalent to the number of months remaining to total 12 months (for example, if you’re 5 months into your subscription, we would charge you a fee equal to 7 x your monthly subscription). After 12 months, there’s a $500 fee and the website is yours.
What happens after 12 months?
Unless we hear otherwise, we automatically put you on our Care Plan, which offers you the same monthly maintenance allocation as the first 12 months, as well as hosting your website. If you’re on our Web Pack or Platinum Pack, we also take care of your domain name renewal when it becomes due.
Can I cancel the Web Pack and stay with your company for hosting?
Yes, but you will need to pay the required amount (above) for the website and then start our monthly hosting fee of $27.
Why so cheap?
Like you, we’re small business owners, and we know that when you’re starting a business you often don’t have thousands of dollars to spend upfront on a professionally designed website. We wanted to create a system where we could help small business owners look professional and attract clients, while not breaking the bank. Affordable monthly payments seemed like a great way to work with your cashflow.
How does the web design process work and how long does it take?
We send you a Welcome Pack with a questionnaire, and once we receive your answers, we design a website based on the information you have provided. The average time is three to four weeks from sign up to live. We require you to provide the written content and photos, so as long as you provide this in an efficient manner, we should be able to get you live very quickly.
Can I use a domain name I’ve already purchased?
Yes, you can use your domain name for our Web Packs. We will simply repoint it to our Web Hosting platform.
Do I get emails with my Web Pack?
Yes, if you have a new Web Pack and want a domain related email address eg. we can set that up for you.
I already have Web Hosting. Can I use that?
Not if you’re on one of our Packs. Since we do all the work on your website, we use our own Web Hosting Platform. However, we can design and build you a new website, payable upfront, which you can host wherever you choose. Contact us for a quote.
How soon after I sign up does the monthly payment start?
When you sign up, you pay the first month’s payment immediately and every 30 days thereafter. As long as you have provided all the content in a timely manner, your new website should be live by the time the next payment comes out.
What if I use more than the allocated amount of website maintenance per month?
If you go over the allowance of web maintenance in a month you will be charged at our special member’s rate of $80 per hour in 30-minute increments (comparative industry rate is $120). The minimum charge is 60 minutes/$80.
